The biomass production project was implemented as a response to the growing demand for biomass fuel. An integrated production process, covering all stages of the logistics chain: biomass harvesting - transportation - storage - processing - production - storage - delivery.
Created infrastructure:
- More than 4100 m² of production premises;
- Agricultural and biomass harvesting equipment including loading/unloading and transportation.
Impact:
- Contribution to reducing the state energy dependence;
- 50 new workplaces;
- Use of agricultural wastes resulting from grain harvesting and wood waste generated by the cutting of gardens and forests.
The project was awarded the title of best project in bioenergy field, in the category "Production of biomass fuel" contest held during Moldova Eco-Energy 2013.
