For 21 October the maximum retail prices of the main standard oil products will be: 25.11 lei/liter - for COR 95 petrol (- 0.05 lei); 28.84 lei/liter - for standard diesel (-0.09 lei).
According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), after a period of growth in Platts quotations for both petrol and diesel, there is currently a decrease in the average level of this indicator, a fact that will also be reflected in fuel prices calculated by the institution.
"Platts quotations represent the indicator that is the basis of the current method of determining the price level in the conditions where the Republic of Moldova imports petroleum products in proportion to 100%. The current legislation guarantees that both increases and decreases in the sale prices of petrol and diesel are in strict correlation with the level of Platts quotations for these products", ANRE said.
